Day 88, Mrs. Weinberg - Memorial School Grade 4

Gummy Bear :Lab - Day 1:

Yesterday, to practice our metric measurements, we conducted an experiment to find out, "What will happen if we submerge a gummy bear in 50mL of water over night?"  We measured the length, width and thickness of our gummy bears as well as its mass.

Day 86, Lauren Kippenberger, Memorial School Grade 3

Dr. Seuss Day:

Today in school we celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday, also known as Read Across America Day.

We read the Dr. Seuss reading oath.

Listened to the story The Lorax in the library.

Students from the high school came by to read  Dr. Seuss books to our class.

Day 77 - Karen Ferullo, Memorial School First Grade

Musical Instruments: The kids did a fabulous job with their instruments.  They worked hard and it showed.  They were able to share what made the vibration on the instrument and we even discussed how the pitch would change if we made some changes to any of the instruments.
